In Inari area we have a special possibility to visit the Arctic Ocean with snowmobiles. It takes minimum 2 days to visit there, but we recommend to use 3-5 days for safari. We are always driving with single snowmobiles and driving distances are 120-200 kilometres per day. The nights we spend in small wilderness hotels or cabins on the way, and for routes we have many possibilities.
Join us for an adventure to the Arctic Ocean with snowmobiles!
The guide will pick you up from your hotel at 9.30. After that we take the safari clothing and then we start the safari with snowmobiles. From Saariselkä we drive across Hammastunturi wilderness area to the village of Inari, where we fill up the tanks. After Inari we continue our way to Kaamanen and we will have a tasty picnic lunch on the way. In Kaamanen we have nice accomodation in cosy cabins, sauna and dinner.
Start at 10.00 from Kaamanen. We will drive in beautiful Kaldoaivi wilderness area to Utsjoki, where we fill up the tanks and have a tasty lunch. After Utsjoki we have still about 60 kilometres to go to Nuorgam, which is the northest village in Finland. In Nuorgam we have accomodation in cabins, sauna and dinner.
Start at 10.00 from Nuorgam. Today we will drive across the wilderness area Kaldoaivi to Sevettijärvi, picnic lunch on the way. In Sevettijärvi we visit a local bar, where is a chance to buy a cup of coffee, tea or soft drinks. After break we drive to Näätämö, where we fill up the tanks and cross the border to Norway. After 10 kilometres drive we will arrive to Neiden. There we have accomodation in cabins, sauna and dinner.
Start at 9.00 Finnish time from Neiden. We will drive 30 kilometres to the Arctic Ocean, where we can enjoy of the landscapes and atmosphere of the open sea, without any hurry. From the Arctic Ocean we drive back to Neiden and to Finland. In Näätämö we fill up the tanks and then continue our way to Nellim still 130 kilometres. The picnic lunch is on the way in a wilderness hut. In Nellim we have accomodation in wilderness hotel, sauna and tasty dinner.
Start from Nellim at 10.00. In village of Ivalo we will have a coffee break in hotel Kultahippu. After Ivalo we drive to Saariselkä where we will arrive approximately at 16.00.
Safari to the Arctic Ocean 5 days is including: single snowmobile, insurance (self liability risk 500-800 euros), gasoline and oil, warm safari clothing (overall, shoes, mittens, balaclava and helmet), all meals on the safari (breakfast, lunch and dinner, no alcohol), accomodations for nights during the safari, guiding services 24h.

Join us for a half-day trip to the wilderness of Inari. In this trip we travel pleasently in the sledge pulled by snowmobile. After 10 kilometres driving we arrive to beautiful wilderness lake. There we put the snowshoes on and we make a 1,5 hours hiking to the nature around. Now it's good time to enjoy of the fresh air, silence and incredible landscapes. After the snowshoe trip we make open fire and enjoy a delicious picnic: hot chocolate, tea, sandwiches and sausages, fried yourself on the open fire. After our nice arctic picnic we say goodbye for the wilderness and return back to hotel.
