Aurora Borealis, the mystical lights of the Lappish night are an incredible experience, which you can see only on the sky of north Lapland. When our midwinter weather is clear enough, possibilities to see Aurora Borealis are good.
In this guided trip we will travel by car to the wilderness cabin, where we spend one night hunting the Aurora Borealis. We will arrive to the cabin approximately at 6 pm and we will accommodate in double rooms. After accommodation we put the winter clothing on, and we will make two hours hiking trip to the surrounding nature. If there is lot of snow, we will use the snowshoes for walking. On the way the guide will tell us more about the Aurora Borealis, and gives the answers for your questions. At the same time we can have a cup of hot chocolate or tea to keep us warm. If we have some luck with us and the sky is clear, we have a good chance too see the Aurora Borealis in the beautiful nature of Lapland. (Note! At the time 1.9. - 31.10. we will make this two hour trip after the dinner at 9-10 pm, so that the sky is dark enough.)
When we will arrive back to the cabin, our guide will make and serve us a tasty Lappish dinner. At the same time you can observe the Auroras near by the cabin. If you are not too tired after the dinner, you have time to hunt the Aurora Borealis whole night for the next morning if you want!
In the morning we will have a tasty breakfast at 8 am. After breakfast we will drive back to your hotel.
